Since 1993

I have served the Scouting movement for over 25 years. I strive to be an authentic, passionate, focused and caring leader
who excels at bringing out the best in others.

I began my career in St. Louis, Missouri where I was born and raised, first serving as a District Executive and Senior District Executive. In addition, I had the opportunity to provide leadership to the Greater St. Louis Area Council as a camp director. I served the next eight years of my career in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a District Director and Field Director before accepting a promotion to the Indianhead Council in St. Paul, Minnesota as the Director of Program. After the merger of the Minneapolis and St. Paul councils, I assumed the role of Director of Support Services. I was selected as the Scout Executive of the Samoset Council in Weston, Wisconsin in 2008, before being selected in 2012 as the Area Director for Area 3 in the Central Region.

I earned my MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from Concordia University, Wisconsin in 2008. My undergraduate degree is from Missouri State University (MSU) where I raced on the collegiate cycling team and served as team President. My wife Sarah and I have three children, 19 years old twins, Hannah and Andrew, and a fourteen year-old daughter, Elena. In my free time I enjoy cycling, ultrarunning and woodworking.

I am an Eagle Scout, Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow, and I am Woodbadge trained.
